Yappr.com



INTRODUCTION

Yappr.com is an online service that makes learning English fun and easy. Its name comes from the English slang word “to yap” which means to talk incessantly, as a result “a yapper” is someone that speaks incessantly. However, the name “yapper.com” was too expensive; therefore, to save money it was called “yappr.com”. This website was created in order to practice pronunciation, translate and post videos, play games, record phrases and keep in touch with other learners around the world.

FEATURES
As yappr.com is free, everybody can access to it in an easy way. You have the possibility to record any phrase you want and if some word is wrong, the website immediately gives you feedback. As subtitles are included into the videos, learners can understand them easier, and improve their listening, speaking, writing and reading skills. Besides, you will also find notes explaining idioms and phrases which you do not currently find in a book.

USES

This website provides different options to practice and improve pronunciation, know different people around the world and evaluate the english levels by doing exams.
